President of the American Federation of Teachers Randi Weingarten warns teachers are under attack as a way to undermine critical thinking in schools. “The framers of this constitution of ours understood that critical thinking was absolutely key to stopping tyrants,” she said. “When you see all these propagandists try to undermine critical thinking, they are trying to stop our kids from being able to understand fact from fiction, to understand disinformation and misinformation.”
